Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC when she was in her final stage of her engineer bachelor's degree. When she finished her senior year in engineering, Srushti Deshmukh wondered if she'd like working in the field of engineering. Then she realized the dream job she wanted was in civil service and started to focus on it. Parents encouraged her to become a civil servant and pursue a career in public service.
